Gamble House Dining Table This piece was built this as a custom project for a customer in CA. The Table is in my own opinion one the Greene brothers most complex pieces for a few different reasons. The border that captures the edge of the table that is perfectly matched to the contouring shape with several ebony inlay's on both the top and edge, and the expansion mechanism itself. The expanding slides are a series of six "T" shape slides on each end of the table with three on either side of the main top support that work together letting the table easily open from 52" in length to 102" in length, and accommodates up to three leaves. This table was built to the specific size at the request of the customer measure 45" in width 52"-102" in length seating anywhere from 4 to 10 comfortably. |
