Riverview Floor Lamp

Prairie School Arts and Crafts Floor Lamp — Quarter-Sawn White Oak

The Riverview floor lamp shares the same Stickley Model #500-inspired base as the Riverside floor lamp — four splayed legs joined to a heavy central post with hand-driven copper pyramid-head nails, handcrafted from quarter-sawn white oak with a rich reddish-brown Craftsman finish. What sets the Riverview apart is the shade apron detail drawn directly from the Prairie School lamps of the Peterson Furniture Company: seven evenly spaced round openings along the lower apron and five smaller ventilation holes across the upper portion of the shade. It is the same unmistakable viewport detail found on the Riverview table lamp, here scaled up to floor lamp proportions.

The lamp is available in two glass options. The mica version fills the room with the warm, amber-toned diffused light most associated with Arts and Crafts interiors. The stained glass version features a poppy flower design inspired by an original W.B. Brown pattern — a warm amber background with graceful poppy blooms rendered in copper foil. Four individually operated pull-chain sockets rated for up to 75 watts each. The lamp stands 60 inches tall.

Made entirely to order from hand-selected quarter-sawn white oak.
