The Irvine is an original Craftsmen Studio design built around a centerpiece of handmade leaded stained glass depicting a graceful flowering dogwood in full bloom — a motif deeply rooted in the Arts and Crafts tradition and its celebration of nature brought indoors.

The frame is handcrafted from rich African mahogany with ebony and cherry wood inlay details, assembled using traditional mortise and tenon joinery for lasting strength. The dogwood glass panels are crafted using the copper foil method, with each petal and branch carefully shaped and soldered by hand.

The finish is one of the most considered aspects of this piece — a pre-catalyzed lacquer foundation combined with hand waxing creates a deep, living patina that continues to enrich the wood's character over time, growing more beautiful with age rather than wearing out.
