Vista Table Lamp
Arts and Crafts Table Lamp — Quarter-Sawn White Oak
The Vista is an original Craftsmen Studio design and one of the most popular lamps in the collection. While the cloud-lift is a central motif in Greene & Greene's work, it appeared far less often in Stickley and mainstream Arts and Crafts furniture — making the Vista something of a deliberate mash-up of the two traditions. Handcrafted from hand-selected quarter-sawn white oak with a rich reddish-brown Craftsman finish, the cloud-lift apron running below the shade gives the lamp a gentle, organic movement that connects it to both the Greene & Greene and Stickley furniture vocabularies, making it an exceptionally natural companion to period furnishings of either tradition.
The shade panels are available in two options. The mica version casts the warm, honeyed amber glow most associated with the Prairie and Craftsman interior — soft, diffused, and deeply flattering to wood-toned rooms. The stained glass version features a hand-made vine and leaf motif in copper foil, bringing color and natural imagery to the light in keeping with the Arts and Crafts movement's reverence for the organic world. Custom glass designs are available upon request. Each lamp is fitted with two individually operated pull-chain sockets rated for up to 75 watts each.
